Professional Growth Goal
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
This school year, I employ best practices in assessing student learning and embed formative assessment to develop stronger skills in obtaining better grades for the summative assessments. I will adopt effective data collection for IEP progress monitoring.
A Surprised to Myself
Comparing my initial and final CSTP Self-Assessment, I have grown the most in creating and containing effective environments for student learning. At the beginning of the year, I applied knowledge of student development and proficiencies to ensure their understanding of a content. I utilized instructional strategies that were appropriate to the subject matter. At present, I create physical and virtual learning environments that promote student learning, reflect diversity, and encourage constructive and productive interactions in class. I have maintained learning environments that are physically, intellectually, and emotionally safe.
Post Induction Professional Goal
My overarching goal as an educator is to get stronger at helping students grow confident in who they are and focus on what students do best. I will to reach out to them and make them feel valued and successful.
"I will continue to be the teacher who is warm, accessible, enthusiastic, caring and my students know they can go to with any problems or concerns or even to share a funny story."
How I remain a connected as an educator throughout my career
Keep my brain sharp by learning something new. I will take part in workshops and trainings, or going to a seminar or conference.

Pursue continuing education to increase my personal development even if I'm completely satisfied with my job and lifestyle.

Embrace making mistakes - learn from it. Realize that mistakes are common and focus on what you learn, then enjoy, laugh, share, and move on.
Positive thinking is important because it can have a beneficial impact on both my physical and mental well-being.
